My Client, a global venue finding and events agency working within the field of pharmaceutical sales and healthcare is looking for a key position of Project Executive to work with a major client. The Role… Working with one of the main clients, your role will be take full brief of the event due to take place, taking into account numbers, style of event, facilities required. To then negotiate with venues and hotels nationally and internationally ensuring all requirements can be met. Dealing directly with your clients and venues. Negotiating rates and add ons on a daily basis and with confidence. Preparing cost budgets and invoices. Understanding international currencies, conversion rates and tax to ensure correct costings. Working closely with yourteam colleagues to reach required targets and being prepared to assist in other fields should your work load facilitate this. Also some opportunity to assist for short term stays (3-4 days) in venues abroad, 2-3 times per year, where all costs will be paid and an opportunity to see the operational side of the event. Hours 8.30-4.30 pm, 9.00am – 5.00pm or 10am to 6pm on a rota basis, Monday to Friday. What You Need To Be?.... You will be confident, organised, methodical and professional, with an ability to multi task and work to given time frames You will feel comfortable communicating with clients on a daily basis, aswell as dealing directly with hotels and ensuring they meet all of your clients requirements You will have an understanding of the costings of a project and feel happy negotiating to fall within this You will have an understanding of currency conversion rates and taxes for international venues You will be flexible to different projects and clients when required and happy to jump in to assist your team members You will be looking to develop your role and progress in the future, learning all there is to know about your role and clients so to move forward within your skill base What’s In It For You?
